Corporate Social Responsibility is at the core of every corporation’s agenda in India, driven by pervasive economic, environmental and social challenges that continue to plague many communities across the country.

FNF India is committed to helping local organizations implement programs that create sustainable, positive change deemed critical to India’s well-being. During an open request period each year, FNF India solicits proposals for innovative community projects focused on eradicating poverty, preventive health care, gender and disability empowerment, educational opportunity, environmental protection, and rural area development. A broad range of disciplines, skills and approaches are applied to the projects underwritten by FNF India.

As part of its mandate, FNF India seeks to support organizations that strive to make advancements in five key areas.

  • Eradicating hunger, poverty and malnutrition, promoting preventive health care and sanitation, and making available safe drinking water
  • Promoting education, including special education and employment-enhancing vocation skills especially among children, women, elderly centers and the differently-abled, and livelihood enhancement
  • Promoting gender equality, empowering women, setting up homes and hostels for women and orphans, setting up homes, day care centers and other facilities for senior citizens, and measures for reducing inequalities faced by socially and economically-challenged groups

FNF India’s CSR program was recognized at the World HRD Congress Awards 2016. FNF India was among the 25 that topped the 400 companies nominated for CSR excellence, and was present to receive the Certificate of Merit in this category.
